I am a Medicare B Provider.
Medicare is the only insurance I process at this time.
If you subscribe to Medicare, I'm required to submit documentation of our sessions for Medicare to review and reimburse me for our work together.
That means that even if you want to hire me and pay in cash.Medicare will NOT allow me to take cash from a Medicare beneficiary for normally covered physical therapy services. Bummer, right?
If at some point during your treatment sessions, Medicare deems that the services are no longer "skilled" but you still want to work with me, we can apply for an "ABN with a modifier".
If you have a non-Medicare insurance plan, you have the option to private pay (see fees below) at the time of service. Afterwards you can choose to submit for reimbursement to your insurance company. I'll provide you with a comprehensive billing summary.
If you have specific questions, please contact me.
