First Visit

What should I expect?

Complete the intake forms and questionnaires. These will target your limiting functions or pain points. What are your strengths and weaknesses?

Review my welcome video.

Lifestyle assessments will look at habits, general nutrition and show us the areas to make easy but effective changes.

The "evaluation" is the first visit and lasts about 75+ minutes. We start with talking about you and your needs, your past and current medical history, your goals and expectations.

Have your list of medications and past medical history ready.

We may look at many of the following items:
Vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, oxygen levels)
Range of motion of arms, legs, spine, trunk
   Strength
   Vision
   Coordination
   Balance
   Posture
   Sensation
Mobility: transfers, walking & activities of daily living
   Cardiovascular fitness

I'll choose "functional outcome measures". These help give us data with data to determine your current level, needs and goals as well as show your progression.

Then we'll create a health plan together with written goals to improve your mobility and function.
